The Opportunity

Reporting to the Coordinator Construction/Maintenance, this role will provide supervision to staff and the operation of various plant items as part of a broader team who effectively and efficiently construct and maintain Council’s roads and infrastructure.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a cert III in a relevant discipline such as civil construction, plant operations, or road maintenance and/or a willingness to undertake professional development.

Previous operations or labour experience will be highly regarded, but what is most important in this role is a drive to learn and develop your skills. This role is diverse in its scope and will give you the unique opportunity to develop a range of different skills that will help you progress your career.

A work cover ticket and a class C Licence, 

Most importantly, successful candidates will have a great and positive attitude.

Annual salary of $65,82 to $72,644 + Superannuation
