Salary Range: Grade 16-17 ($1880.90 - $2181.27 per week + 12% Superannuation)
Contract Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Our Next Operations and Project Officer
Council is seeking the services of an experienced officer to support the Works Manager in the allocation of resources to deliver effective engineer works outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management (Preconstruction)
- Project Management (Delivery)
- State and Federal Grants - research, application, and acquittal
- Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) - coordination and implementation
- Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) - coordination and implementation
- Improvements, Renewals, Maintenance and Operations on State, Regional and Local Roads - coordination and implementation
- Council Quarries - coordination and implementation
- Provide Quality administration support as required.
Key Requirements:
- Qualification in Project Management and or Engineering (and OR relevant experience in the development, delivery and maintenance of roading infrastructure).
- WHS General Induction for Construction Work (White Card)
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in use of Microsoft Office applications and other Council IT Systems
- Ability and continued commitment to work according to Councils' policies and Code of Conduct, with or without supervision.
While not required, desirable characteristics of a successful candidate could include:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for membership to the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
