Boasting a dynamic community recreation center that prioritises safety and enjoyment for all visitors, Gunnedah Shire Council is looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
Kiosk Attendant - The Role
We’re looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, dependable, and customer-focused. If you have the right attitude and commitment, full training will be provided. However, a background in customer service is an advantage.
In this role your primary duty is to provide a high level of service and interaction with pool clientele while operating the kiosk. You'll be responsible for food preparation, sales, cash handling, serving customers, while contributing to a friendly and safe environment. This role is perfect for those after casual and flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the Kiosk as and when required, included but not limited, to food preparation, sales, cash handling, serving customers.
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to any emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when needed.
- Assist in maintaining pool cleanliness and general facility upkeep.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons with inquiries or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and safety drills to maintain high standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Current Employee WWCC.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
